Piermont Residence Above Storefront Needs Fire Damage Mitigation

A Piermont residence located over a storefront needed both commercial and residential fire and water damage restoration services from SERVPRO. As the Before Photo shows, the technicians arrived to find a bathtub full of ceiling debris that fell during the fire. The technicians removed the charred building materials from the tub and floor  offsite and worked on extracting the water.  Fortunately, the moisture detection equipment used by SERVPRO did not show any seepage under the tile floor by the tub and toilet. SERVPRO technicians cleaned the area manually using their proprietary cleaning agents to remove the smoke residues. The After Photo shows the mitigation nearly completed with final touches such as cleaning the tub and replacing the tank top on the toilet needed to make the restoration services complete.
