Woodcliff Lake Storm Damage in Basement
This Woodcliff Lake home had a large amount of storm damage but fortunately the homeowner began the cleanup rapidly after the initial event before the water had time to wick into the sheetrock. There was major seepage under the carpet and it needed removal so SERVPRO techs could extract the water. Because of the size of the basement, the techs deployed multiple air movers positioned closely with dehumidification equipment to capture and port away the embedded moisture as it got raised out of the concrete slab. As seen in the After Photo, not even the baseboards received the effects of the water and once the substrate dried, the techs prepped it for installation of new carpet by cleaning it thoroughly.
