Westwood Water Damage Comes From Above
The first sign the Westwood homeowners saw that there was water damage happening in their home came from the ceiling in the bathroom where a paint bubble appeared on the ceiling. Although it looks like a small area got affected, upon scoping the room with their moisture detection equipment, the technicians found that the damage from the moisture was widespread and a large portion of the ceiling above the shower needed a controlled demo to open up the area for drying and remove the deteriorated sheetrock. Fortunately the walls and tile in the shower were unaffected by the water. SERVPRO techs were able to quickly extract the water and dry the ceiling so the structure could get prepared for the needed repairs.
