Standing Water in the Finished Basement
This finished basement located in the home of a Paramus, NJ resident sustained a large amount of water damage due to a pipe burst. The cause of the pipe burst was due to the extremely low temperatures during the winter season and the failure to keep the pipes insulated with warmth. The crawlspace of this home even had huge chunks of ice frozen to the structure. Our team extracted the standing water and began removing all the soggy wet building materials. The carpet was removed and the wet sheetrock was cut. Our team placed drying equipment to get rid of any remaining moisture and humidity. Unfortunately there were many other affected rooms and floors besides this basement shown.
