Waldwick Storm Damage Affects Multiple Rooms With Water

SERVPRO serviced this Waldwick property with flood damage in multiple rooms. The Before Photo shows wet flooring with items the homeowner placed on a table before the arrival of SERVPRO. This type of flooring has some water resistance but not prolonged exposure to standing water. The After Photo shows the true scale of the water damage in the property. SERVPRO technicians needed to remove the flooring to try the slab substrate underneath. Since water wicked into the walls, flood cuts were needed several inches above the floor and waterline to halt any further traveling of the moisture into the walls. Several air movers were deployed throughout the level to bring down the interior moisture levels as rapidly as possible so the repairs could begin on the damaged areas and get life back to normal for the homeowner.
