Hillsdale Fire Damage Needs Big Cleanup

This home in Hillsdale had a large amount of fire damage for SERVPRO techs to clean up. The fire was limited to a portion of the home and to stop the spread of soot, plastic barriers were put up. Only one of the windows did not have glass and needed covering to keep the elements out. The flooring required removal as a loss, but the subfloor remained in place. The cabinets under the missing window were too charred for restoration, however, the remaining cabinets only needed a deep cleaning with wood soaps and were able to get restored in place. Fortunately for the homeowners, much of the structure got saved and prepped for repairs.
