Bubbling Ceiling On The Verge Of Collapse

This residential home in Woodcliff Lake, NJ experienced a large amount of water entrapped in the ceiling of this living room. We removed the layered plaster ceiling before it could collapse. Unfortunately the hardwood floors beneath got wet with moisture but we were able to save the hardwood floors with the use of specialty drying equipment called dry mats. We also dried the hardwood floors from the ceiling underneath which happened to be the basement. The basement drop ceiling tiles were removed in order to dry out the sub-floor and beams. Since we were able to mitigate early we did not experience any mold growth.
