Mold Growth Found After Water Damage

This home located in Paramus, NJ sustained a pipe leak originating from the ceiling causing water damage to the finished basement. This situation was unlike any other due to the fact that the homeowner had an extensive hoarding problem. Before we could even start mitigating, the amount of contents the owner was holding down in the basement needed to be cleared out in order for us to work properly. Due to the delay in beginning water mitigation, mold growth was already visibly growing on the walls and drop ceiling tiles. The drop ceiling tiles held a large amount of water since it was right near the source. We removed all the saturated materials and performed mold remediation to sanitize and prevent any further mold growth.
